DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

I tell stories about what holds people together when everything else falls apart. Not the grand gestures, but the small, ordinary moments that mean everything. Late-night city walks. Meals that stretch long after the restaurant closes. Silent conversations where everything is said without a word. My work lives in the tension between longing and arrival, between who we are and still becoming. I‘m drawn to stories that breathe slowly, unfold intimately, and find their weight not in spectacle but emotion: love stories told in dimly lit kitchens, underdogs stitching together found families, and second chances discovered when no one is watching.

Visually, I am obsessed with the emotional architecture of space: how a lingering glance, an unfinished conversation, or a quiet room can carry more gravity than any climactic speech. Emotion is not a subplot in my work; it is the engine. I am less interested in perfect resolutions and more compelled by the fragile, beautiful choice to keep moving forward. At the heart of every story I tell is a belief: that who we are becoming is just as vital as who we are, and that the smallest moments often carry the biggest transformations.
